Kirk and Nancy Hartwig
Nancy and Kirk Hartwig began practicing yoga regularly in 1996 simply to enhance their other physical activities - running, hiking, and weight lifting. They soon discovered yoga offered far more benefits than just stretching tight muscles!!

To deepen their practice, they enrolled in the 500-hour teacher training program at the Iyengar Institute of San Francisco. Kirk completed the two year course in 2003 and Nancy is scheduled to complete the program. They have been teaching since 2002 and their love of yoga has expanded to one of their daughters who also teaches yoga in Vancouver BC. With high-tech professional backgrounds Nancy and Kirk are attracted to the Iyengar style with its attention to detail and precision of alignment. Their classes are designed for students of all skill levels as they balance a compassionate and gentle style with traditional Iyengar methods and inward focus.

  Lisa Bennett, R.Y.T.
Lisa studied with Susan Whitaker of Canyon Spirt Yoga Center in Auburn, where she was born and raised. She has been practicing yoga since since she was a teenager, and since has cultivated yoga philosphy and beliefs into her lifestyle.

Lisa believes in integrated health care, developing the connection of mind-body-spirit, and uses this in her work as a yoga instructor and massage therapist. Lisa enjoys hiking, biking, swimming and is currently pursuing studies in Psychology.

  Rebecca DeMos, R.Y.T.
Becca’s life path changed in 1998 when she attended her first yoga class in Santa Monica. Yoga proceeded to become a huge part of her life as her fascination with the discipline grew. After practicing for several years, she decided it was time to share her knowledge with others.

Becca is a Registered Yoga teacher at the 200-hour level with the Yoga Alliance and a Certified Pilates instructor through NESTA. Her class is vinyasa-based and integrated with elements of Pilates, Power Yoga, Iyengar, and Forrest-Style yoga. The class focuses on linking a deep, controlled breath to flowing sequences of movements, developing core strength and stability, learning proper alignment, and having fun while getting in touch with your body. Students of all levels are welcome!
