About PilatesThe Pilates Method of exercise was developed by Joseph H. Pilates, who believed that physical fitness was the first requisite to happiness. The Pilates Method emphasizes the development of core strength and stabilization, concentration, control, breath and flowing movement performed in a precise manner. Pilates sessions are offered by appointment. We offer 55 minute private, semi-private and group Pilates sessions that utilize Pilates reformers, half-trapeze towers, chairs and mat work.
