Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa literally means "breath synchronized movement." Our vinyasa flow classes provide students a journey into asana (postures), pranayama (breath control) and relaxation techniques in a flowing, graceful and challenging dance of yoga. Sequences are designed to cultivate the development of core strength, endurance, flexibility, concentration and stability, all while having fun and getting in touch with your breath and body. Our Vinyasa classes are healing, balancing and cleansing for mind and body, building heat from the inside out.

Fusion Flow

Fusion flow fuses the best of yoga with dash of pilates. Students will experience a blend of flowing and controlled movements, core strengthening, breath and a dynamic sequence of yoga postures. This class has something to offer new students, as well as experienced students of both disciplines. Class also utilizes foam roller, magic circle and hand weights. This class has something to offer new students, as well as experienced students of both disciplines.

Iyengar

Iyengar Yoga (created by B.K.S. Iyengar) is known for attention to detail and focus on proper body alignment. An Iyengar Yoga class is verbal and precise, with misalignments actively corrected. Use of "props" (blocks, belts, blankets, chairs) is also encouraged to make asanas accessible, safe, and rewarding for students of different skill levels and physical abilities. The mixed level class consists of a gradually progressive asana sequence to encourage flexibility, balance, and a relaxed state of mind. Strength building and preparation for the intermediate level asanas (for students who desire) shall occur as a natural result of regular attendance. This is a mixed level class and students of any skill level are welcome to attend.

Anusara-inspired Yoga

Share the joy of expansion. In Anusara yoga we use concise alignment principles to skillfully tap into our innate power, build strength and flexibility, and align ourselves with the greater flow of energy. A physically oriented/challenging class that is infused with meaningful intention to the grand purposes of yoga. It includes implementation of postural alignment, breath, and balanced action to bring stability, freedom and joy.

Hip Openers

Hip joint flexibility is one of the keys to overall mobility. Our modern lifestyle in which sitting (at work, home, in our cars, etc.) is common, the muscles surrounding our hip joints tighten/shorten. This affects mobility and limits our yoga practice. This class will focus on opening and lengthening hip rotators and flexors and is designed to improve pelvis alignment and initial movement required for twists and backbends – allowing you to go deeper into your practice. This class is great for any student - practicing yogis and yoginis of any level, athletes and prenatal students.

Prenatal Yoga

This prenatal yoga class will focus on pranayama (breathing) and asana (postures) to help you enjoy your pregnancy and prepare for your upcoming birth. You will learn how to reduce stress and anxiety while building strength, confidence, and endurance needed to keep you healthy through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. This class is also a great way to connect with other moms-to-be in the community. You may come to this class at any time throughout your pregnancy, and no yoga background is required. Please check with your doctor or midwife if you have any questions about your specific pregnancy and exercise.

Om Play

Capturing the art and science of yoga, this class will give you chance to take your play on the mat to a new level blending the concepts found in both Iyengar and Anusara traditions. With a strong emphasis on alignment, you will get to play with yoga toys, such as blocks and straps. You will work with a set of powerful and concise alignment principles to bring your body back to a place of optimal health and align yourself with the greater flow of energy. Every pose is infused with a meaningful intention connected to the grand purposes of yoga, awareness of specific postural alignment, breath, and balanced action between stability and freedom.
