Kirk Hartwig, E-RYT
Kirk began his yoga practice in 1996 as a way to enhance his other athletic activities. The attraction to yoga deepened, leading him to enroll in the 500-hour teacher training program at the Iyengar institute of San Francisco, which he completed in 2004.

He is an ERYT and has been teaching mixed level classes, introduction series, workshops and private sessions since 2003. His education continues on a daily basis through his interactions with students and fellow teachers, as well as his personal studies and practice.

Due to his engineering / high tech background, he is drawn to the Iyengar method with its attention to detail and alignment. While that technical approach is present, his classes also incorporate visualization and yoga philosophy.

His classes are designed for students of all skill levels with special attention to sequencing, modifications / use of props and customized instruction.
Helen Breault, E-RYT
Helen has been practicing yoga since 2001. She is a graduate of the Yoga Tree Teacher Training Program in San Francisco, CA. Helen has apprenticed with Karl Erb (Iyengar) as well as with Darren Main (Hatha/Vinyasa).

Alexandra Epple, E-RYT
I, that is Alexandra Epple, am an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner,Pancha Karma Specialist, Anusara Inspired Yoga Instructor, Thai Massage therapist and teacher. I like to share what I know with enthusiasm, clarity and personal insight.

My journey into the healing arts is interwoven with extensive travel to foreign land. Native to Germany, I moved to the United States in 1998 trusting that this bold move was appropriate to find my own convictions and inner power.

2001 marked my first yoga teacher training, at the Bikram Yoga College of India in Los Angeles, USA. Seeing the great transformational power of yoga I spent several months in India to deepen my education with a 4-month Hatha Yoga Therapy training at Atma Vikasa in Mysore, India.

Following my passion to help heal others, I spent spring 2004 in Thailand to study Thai Massage with Asokananda, who initiated me into this transformational practice of compassion. Since then I have spent numerous times in Chiang Mai, Thailand to further my studies with masters such as Pichest Boonthumbe, Arnaud L'Hermite, Kaline Alayna Kelly and senior teachers at the Sunshine Network. In 2008, I participated in the first, month long Thai Massage Circus in Laos.

2004 marked another great stepping stone - my initiation into Anusara Yoga. Steeped in a Tantric philosophy, Anusara yoga is a way for me to play and trust in my inner child. My most inspirational teachers include John Friend, Sianna Sherman, Desiree Rumbaugh and Neesha Zollinger. Currently, I am working toward my Anusara Yoga Teacher Certification with Neesha Zollinger, a Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor.

Deeper explorations into the wisdom of natural healing methods, led me to the study of Ayurveda. After two years of intensive study at the California College of Ayurveda, Grass Valley I graduated as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist in spring 2011. Currently, I am deepening my knowledge of the Vedic Sciences through the study of Vedic Astrology with Freedom Cole and Sanjay Rath.

My broad education all feeds into the same goal: to answer the greater questions of life. Where do we come from, where are we going and why are we here in the first place? My healing practices are a constant inspiration and reminder to live a happy and fulfilled life. They give me a way to share the deep wisdom of nature. My greatest wish is to share the beauty of Ayurveda, Yoga and Thai Massage with you, as a way for you to step into your own power so that your soul can shine forth ever so brightly.

He is an E-RYT 500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher at 500 hours). Each February, Gyandev and his wife Diksha lead a Ayurvedic Healing and Yoga Retreat at a five-star Ayurvedic clinic in India.
